The eternal question...

Nope, I'm not talking about why bad things happen to good people, or whether the toilet paper should be over or under (because clearly the answer is over), I'm talking about why I have more acne now as an ADULT than I ever did as a teenager! Why is this happening to me!? I will admit, that I am not the most diligent about washing my face (it happens at least every other day...) but I don't wear makeup except for on Sundays, and I wash it off if I do wear it. But STILL as my current tube of face wash wore out, I headed to the face wash isle of Target (Walmart?) to find a new "miracle" that might have me looking my age. I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time figuring out which face wash to buy. They all promise the same thing but I just don't know which will work with my skin, what will do the trick, I just know that my old one wasn't working.

I finally decided on this one:

Because I had noticed that in this more humid climate I had an oily face all the time-- gross! (Also since I started working out, I sweat more easily, which is also a little unfortunate, but something I'm willing to deal with).

Can I just tell you taht I am kind of in love with this face wash? It doesn't smell good, not bad, just like soap, it doesn't leave my skin tingly (I like it when face washes do that) but it does it's job. And for my every other day face washing style, it does fabulous things. I know I probably could be recording more important things, but I just felt like telling the world that I love Neutrogena Deep Clean Long-Last Shine Control Daily Scrub. (what a mouthful!)

*I have not been paid or compensated in any way for this blog, unfortunately...*

  1. I've had acne ever since I was a teenager--and I still do! But maybe my lot is more bearable than yours since it's nothing new... [and I totally relate with you standing in the face wash aisle of Target for forEVER trying to decide which one is best!! not too cheap, not too expensive, blah blah blah. glad you're pleased with your choice]

But I can vouch that acne stinks! I love Sister Tanner's story of how she had it as a teenager and it crippled her self-esteem for a time, but then she made the decision to make herself as beautiful/well-kept as she could, then when she walked out the door to forget herself and start serving others. That has helped me through all these years of unwanted zits. Haha.

The end of the epistle-length comment. :)
