Day 24: Make a playlist to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs. (Just post the titles and artists and letter)
(I apologize for the personal nature of this post. I'm processing...)
To my friend:
Tonight we talked a lot. You told me a lot of things, about you, about your life, and about some of the mistakes you've made. You didn't tell me in detail, but you were specific enough for me to fill in what blanks you left. It all makes me feel a little sick. You know better, you have taught people to live their lives better than you are living yours. I'm not sure why you felt like you could tell me, it must be my invisible sign again. (It must have been flashing tonight.) It hurts my heart for you. You served the Lord. You made covenants. They can't keep you safe unless you keep them! And you feel too stubborn to change. You're not sure if you want to, even though you know you should. It's strange, because before you told me all this, I just was sitting by you and realized how much Heavenly Father loves you, what a good person you are. Usually, I would be so fast to judge, but I just feel sorry for you. So, here's the playlist for you, it's songs that remind me that I can be better, and inspire me to do it, even when things are rough.
