Tonight I was in charge of cooking for dinner group. My dinner group consists of 12 people and meets at 6:30 Monday through Thursday. We have most of the same people this semester as last semester, with three additions. I love being in a dinner group, but it stresses me out. I plan ahead, I plan well, I write out timelines, etc. (I know, it's a little bit OCD, but I have horrible nightmares about not having food prepared on time, not having enough food, etc)
Today I feel like dinner went off without a hitch (which means I'm 'free' till the next time I cook, in 3 weeks). I'm in love with my Kitchen!
I love my Rice Cooker: --->

I got it last year for Christmas from my AWESOME parents. It cooks brown and white rice and steams veggies and is just pretty much amazing! In it, I made brown rice with chicken bullion and onions. Nothing fancy, just delicious.
I love my Non-stick roasting pan. ---->

When I opened this giant pan on Christmas this year I was a little... well, I wondered what I would ever use it for. It doesn't fit into my cupboards, it is stored under my bed, and I've finally used it! Today this sweet baby held 26 chicken legs bathing in LOTS of BBQ sauce. I used the last little bit of 3 open bottles I had stockpiled in the fridge! They baked for 3 1/2 hours and were delicious!
But how do I keep from scratching my beautiful non-stick pan, you may ask?
With these--->

Also from Christmas this year, I LOVE THEM! And they came in a set with a pancake flipper and a rubber scraper. Love, love, love.
Also this-->

it's actually called a Bash n' Chop. I used it to separate my roll dough, PERFECT, then I used it to make beautiful, even slices in my coffee cake.
Finally, There's my favorite of all my kitchen 'utensils', I like to call her my sous-chef. Shelly is AWESOME! We do awesome things together. And she's a really really great helper in the kitchen. :) I missed her today. She didn't get home till 7:00 tonight! :(
